Project Description

NHS will partner with Lindt Chocolate (in Burlington) for a Thanksgiving project.

There are two goals to this project:

1) Thanking the elderly in our lives

Students can sign up at lunch to send boxes of chocolate to the elderly people in their lives, such as their grandparents or other relatives. NHS volunteers will help with packing and mailing the chocolate.

2) Donating to charity

LHS students will be charged the full price for the Lindt chocolates of their choice, including postage. However, Lindt will give LHS a discount, which will generate a surplus for NHS to donate to select charities such as Red Cross, UNICEF, UNESCO, Dana Farber, and Alzheimer’s Association.

We need all the help we can get!

To sign up for available positions (there are many!), please view this Google Doc.

Please contact Meena Chakraborty at (address redacted) for additional information.

Meena will be available after school on November 17th (Monday) to sign additional forms that were not signed earlier.

Thanks so much!
