Project Description

The LHS Parade Band is an all-volunteer group of 80-90 wind and percussion players, comprising the most visible musical organization in town. We provide music for the townís ceremonies and parades on Veteranís Day, Patriotís Day and Memorial Day. Students will receive 14 hours of community service for the actual parades and the option to attend the annual end-of-year Cape Cod trip. The ability to commit to the schedule is very important. If you wish to participate, but have conflicts, indicate what they are and how many there and we will try to take everything into consideration. Bear in mind that 60% of the groupís performance requirements are on Patriotís day, during April vacation.
